From Lawrence: Let's see - A year at Pratt Institute, B.A (Eng) from U.C., M.S. in Ed. (Psych Svces.) at U.of Penn, more courses at UVA here in urbane Charlottesville. What have I done with all that? Eleven years in P.R. at Comm. College of Phila.; ten years doing volunteer radio production in public radio in Philly; worked in a vets program at Penn; special admissions program at Drexel U.; special ed counselor in Albemarle County schools; tutor, homebound instructor in C'ville schools. Assorted other pick-up jobs as needed (proof reader, waiter, insurance sales, and on and on.) RETIRED. Trying to start a (volunteer) as- needed elementary school tutoring program In all this, I've tried marriage three times, the last one makes it all worthwhile. My wife, Roussie, is an amazing woman, friend, companion. No kids, apart from those I've taught or counseled. We travel, eat out, watch movies, hear music, buff up at the gym, enjoy friends.
